Kara works with Lena in order to stop Lex and Leviathan in the Supergirl season finale on May 17th.

Immortal Kombat was meant to be the penultimate episode of season five but corona virus fears shut down production of the season finale  in mid-March with at least three days of filming left to do.

DAVID HAREWOOD DIRECTED THIS PENULTIMATE EPISODE   – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) realizes that in order to stop Lex (Jon Cryer) and Leviathan she must work with the one person she never thought she’d trust again – Lena (Katie McGrath).  Nia (Nicole Maines) keeps dreaming about Brainy (Jesse Rath) but struggles with what the dreams are trying to tell her.  Meanwhile, Brainy realizes there is only one way to stop Lex. David Harewood directed the episode with story by Derek Simon and teleplay by Emilio Ortego Aldrich & Nicki Holcomb (#519).

Lena came to Kara’s apartment in the previous episode with a tearful apology for not seeing the danger in her project — “You were right. This whole time I became a villain”. She begs Kara to work with her to stop Lex and Leviathan.

Location: The Waterfall Building on West 2nd Avenue.

Most of the filming took place in and on Vancouver’s former Molson Brewery.
