Musical dramedy Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist plans to start filming season 2 in Vancouver this September.
Target filming dates: September 21st to March 31st, 2021 (via DGC-BC Production List)
Critical acclaim, a passionate fanbase plus strong delayed and digital ratings gave NBC a good case to renew it.
Season 2 is expected to be 13 episodes long.

Zoey Clarke is a computer coder in San Francisco who’s have hard time dealing with the reality that her father Mitch (Peter Gallagher) is dying. After an unusual event, she starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs. At first, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be a gift. Add a love triangle between Zoey and her best friend Max (Skylar Astin) and co-worker Simon (John Clarence-Stewart).
Zoey is touched by tragedy in season one, losing her father to a rare degenerative brain disease. But there is more to figure out with her friend Mo, in her romantic life (Team Max vs Team Simon) and in her career.
