REOPENING: Shuttered Set Open For Business as Netflix Horror Series MIDNIGHT MASS Starts Filming in Vancouver

The long-shuttered Midnight Mass set in Steveston is open for business.

Netflix’s next horror series from Mike Flanagan started filming this week.

Filming dates: August 17th to December 16th.

Midnight Mass follows an isolated island community that experiences miraculous events — and frightening omens — after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest.

Production on the new Netflix series was postponed after the film and TV industry shut down in mid-March out of coronavirus fears.

But started five months later with extensive Covid safety protocols.

This is the second horror series Mike Flanagan will film in Vancouver after The Haunting of Bly Manor.
