Updated filming dates. The Flash starting a week later.
The Flash plans to start filming season 7 this Fall in Vancouver, with Covid-19 safety protocols.
Target filming dates: October 1st to May 19th, 2021.
Season 7: After a thrilling cliffhanger which saw the new Mirror Master victorious and still-at-large in Central City, The Flash must regroup in order to stop her and find a way to make contact with his missing wife, Iris. With help from the rest of Team Flash — which includes Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Nash Wells, as well as the Flash’s adoptive father Joe West, meta-attorney Cecile Horton, tough cub reporter Allegra Garcia and brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk — Flash will ultimately defeat Mirror Master. But in doing so, he’ll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating threat on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team — and his marriage — apart.
Cast from outside Canada will have to qualify for the Canadian government-approved border exemption, followed by the strict 14-day full quarantine before heading to set.

New seasons of The Flash, Batwoman and Superman & Lois don’t premiere until January 2021.
New seasons of Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere in the Spring/Summer of 2021.
Where did we leave the Flash?
Iris is missing.
Season 6 of The Flash ended prematurely with episode 19 instead of episode 22, due to the coronavirus production shutdown, so we were left with a couple of cliffhangers:
Eva McCulloch escaped the Mirrorverse, became the Mirror Mistress, killed her husband Joseph, framed Sue Dearbon for the murder and took back her company McCulloch Technologies.
Iris acclimated to the Mirroverse, figured out where Chief Singh was and when it all became too much started refracting light like a prism and disappeared.

It’s really cool and there’s a twist, and it’s a big Iris story with a lots of surprises. Also, there’s a big guest star from seasons early on in The Flash. — Eric Wallace to EW.
The show will roll over the last three episodes of season 6 (90% of episode 20 was shot before the shutdown) into the first three episodes of season 7 .
After the last three episodes of Eva’s story are filmed, The Flash will go right into the next Big Bad’s story in the fourth episode.
Who is the Big Bad? The one true Godspeed.
Fans have been disappointed by The Flash’s versions of white-and-gold speedster Godspeed so far.
In DC Comics lore, Godspeed is the speedster alter-ego of August Heart, a former CCPD colleague of Barry Allen’s and a new crime-fighting partner. But after Hearst’s brother is murdered, he turns evil.
We met the show’s first faux Godspeed in season 5 when Barry and Iris’s daughter Nora from the future took on a villainous August Heart in 2049. He was a speedster robbing chemical trucks and plants for the ingredients to artificial speed, Velocity 9.

Nora and her timeline were wiped out in the season 5 finale and we met four new faux Godspeeds –who couldn’t speak and only emitted a high frequency sound — in the season 6 premiere of The Flash.
In season 6’s penultimate filmed episode, The Flash battles another faux Godspeed with the Pied Piper’s help.
Do they want Barry’s speed? Whoever sent the drones seems to want infinite velocity.
Season 7 of The Flash will premiere in January 2021.
