NBC’s musical dramedy Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist has won an Emmy for Outstanding Choreography for Scripted Programming.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is renewed for season 2 and plans to start filming the new season in Vancouver this September.

Target filming dates: September 21st to March 31st, 2021.

Zoey Clarke is a computer coder in San Francisco who’s have hard time dealing with the reality that her father Mitch (Peter Gallagher) is dying. After an unusual event, she starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs. At first, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be a gift. Add a love triangle between Zoey and her best friend Max (Skylar Astin) and co-worker Simon (John Clarence-Stewart).

Zoey does lose her father to a rare degenerative brain disease in season one. But there is more to figure out with her friend Mo, in her romantic life  (Team Max vs Team Simon) and in her career.
