Netflix’s new dramedy series Maid, with Margaret Qualley as Alex the maid, paused production in Victoria for two days this week because of delays in Covid-19 testing results — like many productions in Vancouver.
Filming was suspended on Wednesday and Thursday.

On its return to production today, Maid announced the casting of Andie MacDowell as Alex’s mother Paula.
Maid, from producers John Wells & Margot Robbie, is filming in Victoria this Fall/Winter.
