Netflix’s smash hit The Umbrella Academy started filming season 3 today in Toronto.
With double the cast because the Sparrows are coming.
Working title: CHROMA.
Filming dates: February 7th – August 17th 2021.
Showrunner: Canadian Steve Blackman.

#3 – Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison/The Rumor, a celebrity who can manipulate reality with the phrase “I heard a rumor…”.
#4 – Robert Sheehan as Klaus/The Séance, who can communicate with the dead and temporarily bring them back to life.

#2 – Justin Min as Ben, but not as the sweet Ben we know. This Ben is Machiavellian and determined to gain his status as the leader at all costs.

#4 – Jake Epstein is Alphonso, whose body and face are scarred from years of crime fighting.
#5 – Genesis Rodriguez is Sloane, a romanic and dreamer whose obligations to her family keep her tethered to the Academy.
#6 – Cazzie David is loner-under-a-hoodie Jayne, who has a fear-inducing snarl. Her only friend is Alphonso.
#7 – Not yet cast – Christopher is an existential dread-inducing psykronium cube. He can turn the room freezing cold and induce paralyzing fear. He acts as the Sparrows’ consulted oracle who hands out incredible advice and serves as the family mediator.
Where did the Sparrow Academy come from?
The Hargreeves siblings avoided another apocalypse in 1960s Dallas at the end of season 2 but on their return to the present discovered they’d created an alternate universe — one where their adoptive father Reginald Hargreeves and brother Ben never died.
