Schmigadoon
Apple TV+’s musical parody series Schmigadoon is about a backpacking couple (Saturday Night Live’s Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key) who discover a magical town where everyone acts as if they’re in a musical from the 1940s.

A couple goes on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover the magical town of Schmigadoon, in which everyone acts as if they’re in a studio musical from the 1940s. They then discover that they can’t leave until they find “true love.”
Keegan Michael-Key and Cecily Strong showed off their pipes in a few duets on Saturday Night Live when he hosted the show in mid-May.
From Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels, Schmigadoon filmed last Fall in Vancouver under the working title Puddin’.

Tony nominee Ariana DeBose (Hamilton) is Emma Tate, a modern woman and the town’s teacher, she struggles to fit into the town’s strict mold.
