Crazy Rich Asians co-writer and producer Adele Lim makes her directorial debut with R-rated comedy JFC ( Joy F**k Club) filming in Vancouver this Fall.
Target filming dates: September 20th to November 5th, 2021.
The comedy follows four Asian-American women as they set off on a journey to Asia to find their birth mothers. Along the way, their experience becomes one of bonding, friendship, belonging, and no-holds-barred wild debauchery that reveals the universal truth of what it means to know and love who you are.
Ashley Park from Emily in Paris is the first to be cast.
