Jennifer Lopez (J Lo) is coming to Vancouver this Fall to play a deadly female assassin, who comes out of hiding to protect the daughter she gave up for adoption, in The Mother.

The Netflix movie sounds like a gender-switched Liam Neeson in Taken or Jean Renoir in Luc Besson’s Leon: The Professional.

When her violent past catches up with her, a woman in hiding from her criminal ex must work with a CIA agent to save the daughter she gave up for adoption years earlier.

Filming dates: October 4th to January 28th, 2022.
