THE FLASH’s Villain Lineup For Its 5-Part Crossover-Style Armageddon Event

The Flash announced its villain lineup for its 5-part crossover-style Armageddon event this Fall.

Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash (Tom Cavanagh) was last seen in season 7 finale demanding to know how the Flash got more speed than him and vowing to get faster — Mark my words Flash, I will.

And Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).

A powerful alien threat arrives on Earth under mysterious circumstances and Barry (Grant Gustin), Iris (Candice Patton) and the rest of Team Flash are pushed to their limits in a desperate battle to save the world. But with time running out, and the fate of humanity at stake, Flash and his companions will also need to enlist the help of some old friends if the forces of good are to prevail.

On the hero side, Team Flash will be joined by the new Batwoman (Javicia Leslie), Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Sentinel (Chyler Leigh), The Atom (Brandon Routh), & the new Green Arrow (Kat McNamara).

Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) will be back and is expected to suit as The Atom, too.

But other than retired Legend Ray Palmer, it looks like no other Legends will be crossing over, which is understandable since they are stuck in the early 20th Century without the means to time-travel.

Also missing from the hero line-up: Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Stargirl, (Bec Bassinger).

Armageddon began filming August 16th in Vancouver and premieres November 16th on The CW.

Eric Dean Seaton is directing the first episode.

Cat’s out the bag on [The Flash] Armageddon! It’s a big one! Storyboards are fire, the shot list is packed, and the tone notes are full of drama, emotion, fun, and heart. Consumed 6 movies for various reasons related to the job at hand. And I came away with even more love and appreciation for shows like The Flash where you get 7 prep days to successfully figure out how to pull off the magic that a movie takes months of planing to do. These crews, cast and writers don’t get enough credit for basically making a half a movie in one eighth the time. It’s so much fun to figure out, but make no mistake it really is a skill. Your only real enemy is the Time Lord and the Time Bandits which can’t be beaten, but can be manipulated. We are coming for you Time Lord! I look forward to our continuing battle.  – Eric Dean Seaton.
