Lori Loughlin Returns to TV in WHEN HOPE CALLS: A COUNTRY CHRISTMAS Filming in North Bay, Ontario

Lori Loughlin will be back on TV this December reprising her When Calls the Heart character Abigail Stanton on a 2-part Christmas special from the spinoff series When Hope Calls.

Loughlin was a regular on When Calls the Heart until the Hallmark Channel let her go and wrote her out of season 6 because of her involvement in the College Admissions Bribery Scandal.. Eventually she pled guilty and served two months in prison.

When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas started filming in North Bay, Ontario this week.

Filming dates: September 27th – October 16th.

When Hope Calls follows Lillian Walsh (Morgan Kohan) and Grace Bennett (Jocelyn Hudon), sisters who were orphaned and raised very differently, as they reunite as adults and open an orphanage in Brookfield, a small Northwest town in the early 1900s.

When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas is about Brookfield trying to win a Harper’s Bazaar search for Americas #1 Country Christmas Town. In the midst of the commotion , a stagecoach appears, and out steps Abigail Stanton (Lori Loughlin) and her son Cody (Carter Ryan), who have brought a troubled boy to Lillian’s orphanage.

When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas airs Saturday, December 18th on the GAC Family Network.
