YELLOWJACKETS Premieres on Showtime — Lord of The Flies Meets Big Little Lies.

The Yellowjackets series premieres tonight on Showtime, with the pilot filmed in Ontario and the series filmed in British Columbia.

Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.

The plane crashed, a bunch of my friends died, and then the rest of us starved, scavenged, and prayed.

Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama, YELLOWJACKETS is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.

Showtime filmed the pilot in Ontario in 2019.

And the series started shooting last Spring in Vancouver.

Filming dates: May 3rd to September 28th.

Juliette Lewis arrived in Vancouver in early April.

So…after the worst year and just beginning to find my feet again – I am FINALLY headed back to work! A new series called “Yellowjackets’ for Showtime. We shot the pilot in 2019…and got the golden “you’re going to series” ticket! This character is gonna be a fun one! Super Serious, Sultry, perpetual question mark, a con….I am so looking forward to putting my mind into what it knows how to do.
