SUPERMAN & LOIS Season 2 Premiere Introduces Ian Bohen as Superman’s New DOD Boss

Lt. General Mitch Anderson (Ian Bohen) is Superman’s new boss at the DOD..

And he expects Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) to fight for America not the world.

This is a Teen Wolf reunion for Ian Bohen and Tyler Hoechlin.

GREGORY SMITH (“EVERWOOD”) DIRECTS THE SEASON TWO PREMIERE – Season two opens with the dust still settling in Smallville following the shocking outcome of the confrontation between Tal-Rho (Adam Rayner) and Superman (Tyler Hoechlin). Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) and Clark struggle as a couple while Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) adjusts to running The Smallville Gazette with Lois. Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) faces new challenges on the football field, and secrets threaten to destroy Jordan (Alex Garfin) and Sarah’s (Inde Navarrette) growing relationship. Meanwhile, Kyle (Erik Valdez) grows concerned over Lana’s (Emmanuelle Chriqui) involvement with a new mayoral candidate. Lastly, John Henry Irons (Wole Parks) and his daughter Natalie (Tayler Buck) attempt to make this new Earth their home. The episode was directed by Gregory Smith and written by Brent Fletcher & Todd Helbing (#201).

Update: Superman & Lois’s season 2 premiere was The CW’s most-watched premiere for the 2021-22 season, with 1.09 million viewers and a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demo.

John Henry Irons has his daughter Natalie, whose pod crash-landed on the Kent Farm in the season finale. Tayler Buck, who plays Natalie, is a series regular in season 2.

Natalie headed to Metropolis High.

Lois Lane is now a partner in running the Smallville Gazette with Chrissy Beppo (Sofia Hasmik).

Retired General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh) is still around but we won’t see him until episode 3..

Superman & Lois Season 2 premieres January 11th on The CW.
