There are reports Grant Gustin is ready to sign a one-year deal for another season of 15 episodes.
In its eighth season, The Flash is holding its own. While no longer The CW’s flagship show,, it remains in the Top 3 for total audience — Superman & Lois, Walker and The Flash — and the 18-49 demo – Superman & Lois, All American and The Flash.
During The Flash’s five-part crossover-style Armageddon event last Fall, a super-sized Team Flash helped undo the Reverse Flashpoint through which Tom Cavanagh’s Eobard Thawne stole Barry Allen’s life.
The five episodes averaged 720,000 viewers and a 0. 2 in the demo which rose to 1.2 million and 0.3 after the first week of delayed viewing.
When will we know about a possible season 9? Normally The CW makes a slew of early renewals at this time of year but 2022 is different with CBS and Warner Bros. TV looking to sell their ownership stake.
