Does Harry go skiing ⛷️ in season 2 of Resident Alien?

Production is looking for skilled skiers and other backgrounders for next week’s two-day shoot in Whistler on February 14th and 15th.

Season 2 of Resident Alien premiered January 26th on Syfy, with Harry and stowaway Max back on Earth.

On his new quest to protect the people of Earth, Harry struggles to hold on to his alien identity as his human emotions grow stronger by the day. In an adventure that takes Harry and Asta (Sara Tomko) all the way to New York City, Asta brings Harry into the arms of someone he can call family. Back in Patience, Sheriff Mike (Corey Reynolds) and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) find themselves closer to unraveling the mystery of Sam Hodges’s murder.

Cast: Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Levi Fiehler, Judah Prehn.

In the premiere, Harry reunites with his Octopus friend voiced by Nathan Fillion (Alan Tudyk’s fellow browncoat on Firefly), who warns him Harry’s people are on their way to complete Harry’s mission and destroy all life on Earth, including Asta.

Resident Alien has been filming season 2 in B.C. since early August.

Filming dates: August 3rd to March 25th, 2022.

Harry and Asta’s search for an alien from Harry’s planet takes them all the way to New York City, with Vancouver playing a “pretty cool, second New York”, Sara Tomko says.

Not only was Resident Alien the most-watched cable drama in viewers and #2 in the key 18-49 demo, it’s Syfy’s highest-rated new drama in six years in total viewers and a big time-shifting success too.

The series is adapted from the Dark Horse Comic co-created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse.
