CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA Alums Jaz Sinclair & Chance Perdomo in THE BOYS Spinoff GEN V

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alums Jaz Sinclair and Chance Perdomo reunite as young Supes competing for the fame and fortune that comes with a Vought contract in The Boys college spinoff Gen V, filming in Toronto this Spring/Summer.

We’re trying to not at all repeat ourselves but have it all in the same world. It’s about superhero kids in school and it’s realistic and gritty but like The Boys is about cops and robbers, in a way, and the college show is a relationship show, but with our spin, so there’s weird sex and all sorts of drugs. — Eric Kripke at SXSW panel.

Target filming dates: May 02 2022 – October 04 2022..

Set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Varsiy is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games—with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.

Showrunners: Michele Fazekas, Tara Butters

Cast: Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Reina Hardesty, Maddie Phillips, Chance Perdomo.

Jaz Sinclair plays the Caribbean’s first and only superhero Marie Moreau. Her flippant and derisive sense of humour cuts straight through her rivals. Marie is surrounded by malevolent forces and she will find herself compromising her values in order to pursue the ever-elusive American dream.

Lizze Broadway plays Emma whose mother is a renowned Supe. Although Emma has tried not to let this legacy define her life, it clearly has. Emma is hiding a scandalous secret about who she really is and worries if she is discovered that people will be repulsed be her.

Chance Perdomo replaces originally cast Shane Paul McGhie after creative changes were made to the character.

Much like Mork & Mindy spun off from Happy Days—which is an insane and true fact—our spinoff will exist in the Vought Cinematic Universe, yet have a tone and style all its own. It’s our take on a college show, with an ensemble of fascinating, complicated, and sometimes deadly Young Supes,. Michele and Tara are stone-cold geniuses, we’re thrilled to have them steer this ship, and grateful to Sony and Amazon for the opportunity. We love this show and can’t wait for you to see it. Also,Baywatch Nights spun-off from Baywatch, and it had vampires. Vampires! — Eric Kripke.
