Supernatural prequel The Winchesters has found its John and Mary — Dean and Sam Winchester’s parents..
Told from the perspective of narrator Dean Winchester, voiced by Jensen Ackles, The Winchesters is the epic, untold love story of how John met Mary and how they put it all on the line to not only save their love, but the entire world.
Drake Rodger will play John Winchester, a recently returned Vietnam vet who finds a new mission when traces of his father’s past lead him to a secret organization and a new life as a demon hunter.
Meg Donnelly will play 19-year-old Mary Campbell, who is thinking of quitting the family business of demon-hunting until her father disappears and John Winchester’s arrival forces her to lead a new team.
The CW pilot from Jensen Ackles aka Supernatural’s Dean Winchester and his wife Danneel Ackles is filming in New Orleans this Spring, not Vancouver where Supernatural filmed for fifteen seasons.
