Easter Sunday is like the Filipino Super Bowl.
Easter Sunday — a big-budget comedy movie starring Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy — will be in theatres August 5th.
The family holiday madness comedy, which takes place over the course of one Easter Sunday, filmed in Vancouver last Spring.
Successful Filipino-American actor Joe Valencia (Jo Koy) goes back to Daly City with his son, Junior, to visit his loving, boisterous family on Easter Sunday. There, he finds the usual chaos amplified by a cousin in trouble and the hurt and anger of his own neglected son.
