It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into The Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy. Season 3 arrives June 3rd.

But who is this? Someone else is hunting the Supes with a cork board of targets and Soldier Boy is on it listed as MISSING.
Jensen Ackles called his Soldier Boy character a “jackass” in January when he spoke to Michael Rosenbaum on the Inside of You podcast.
He’s a grandpa. He’s from the ’40s. He fought in World War II, and he’s just this curmudgeon, bigoted a–hole. He doesn’t age, so he’s this 40-year-old superhero who’s really 80 years old or 90 years old. There’s just so much material there.. — Jensen Ackles describing his character.
[The Boys] find me and I’ve been essentially in captivity for a while. And so, when they do, I’m bearded and I look like [I’m from the movie] Cast Away, but then they clean me up and I get my superhero outfit back on and I go to town. — Jensen Ackles.
Filming in Toronto:
Jensen Ackles arrived with a bushy beard in Toronto to quarantine five or six weeks into production of season 3 last year and started filming April 19th.

Fans spotted him on set as Soldier Boy on May 31st looking washed up.

But when The Boys released the official photos on June 7th, he looked like a super hero.
