Jurassic World: Dominion filmed Chris Pratt herding what-would-become dinosaurs in the snow scenes two years ago in the ranch country of Kamloops and Merrritt, B.C.

Jurassic World: Dominion filmed in Kamloops and Merritt in late February/early March of 2020 before the pandemic shut down productions around the world.

The shoot included this scene at an old sawmill outside Merritt.

What’s Jurassic World 3 about?

When young Maisie (Isabella Sermon) is abducted by dino-poachers, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) set out to find and rescue her, with their journey taking them to a dinosaur habitat operated by a global corporation with a possibly sinister agenda… that’s even now being investigated by Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern).

The Jurassic Park OGs — Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler — join Owen and and Claire in the conclusion to the Jurassic World trilogy.

Cast: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Isabella Sermon, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze.

Production had an open casting call for extras to play mill workers, fishermen and townsfolk in the Kamloops/Merritt shoot.

Jurassic World: Dominion also filmed in Vancouver Island’s old-growth forest at Cathedral Grove.

All together the five Jurassic films have grossed over $5 billion worldwide.

Jurassic World: Dominion is in theatres June 10th, 2021.
