New ABC Series ALASKA DAILY With Hilary Swank Stages a Fire at a Diner Set in Cloverdale

Crew from ABC’s new Thursday night series Alaska Daily built a diner in a parking lot to set it on fire last night, drawing a crowd of spectators in Cloverdale.

‘Anchorage Fire & EMS’ were on the scene to deal with the blaze at “Rita’s Diner”.

Alaska Daily stars Hilary Swank as a disgraced New York City journalist, who ends up working at a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage, Alaska,.

Episode director: Spotlight and Stillwater’s Tom McCarthy.

Cast: Hilary Swank, Jeff Perry, Matt Malloy, Meredith Holzman, Grace Dove, Pablo Castelblanco, Ami Park, Craig Frank.
