THE POWER Has Wrapped After 11 Months of Filming From London to South Africa to Vancouver

Amazon Prime Video’s female-centric global sci-fi series The Power with Auliʻi Cravalho has wrapped after 11 months of filming from London to South Africa to Vancouver.

Adapted from Naomi Alderman’s novel, The Power is about a group of teenage girls who mysteriously develop a special power that allows them to electrocute people at will.

And that tingle in teen girl collarbones leads to a complete reversal of the power balance of the world.

The Power wrapped filming last weekend in Vancouver with an overnight shoot at The Ivanhoe Hotel on Main Street.

John Leguizamo was spotted high-fiving on set.

Suddenly, and without warning, all teenage girls in the world develop the power to electrocute people at will. And they learn they can awaken the Power in older women, too. Soon nearly every woman in the world can electrocute people with her bare hands giving women the physical upper hand over men. And everything is different.

  1. Thank God this finally wrapped-up. I’ve been waiting for over two years, I think. I don’t have Amazon, but may have to get it just for this.
