KUNG FU Season 3 Premieres With 2 Vigilantes: Olivia Liang’s Nicky & Ben Levin’s Bo

Four months have passed since Henry’s departure when Olivia Liang’s Nicky Shen encounters Ben Levin’s vigilante Bo, while taking down some thieves in Kung Fu’s season 3 premiere tonight.

Nicky and the team prepare to take matters into their own hands when the Shens become the latest victims in a local crime spree.

Kung Fu season 3 has been filming in metro Vancouver for two-and-a-half months.

Vancouver filming dates: July 18 2022 – December 19 2022.

Co-Showrunners: Christina Kim and Robert Berens

Cast: Olivia Liang, Ben Levin, Eddie Liu, Tzi Ma, Kheng Hua Tan, Jon Prasida, Shannon Dang, Gavin Stenhouse, Vanessa Kai, Tony Chung, Vanessa Yao, Annie Q, JB Tadena, Kim Rhodes, Yvonne Chapman.

What’s ahead for the Shen family and their restaurant Harmony Dumplings?

The family home is even more crowded as former golden couple Althea and Dennis leave their fancy apartment and move in.

And Jin and Mei-Li’s restaurant Harmony Dumplings needs to be rebuilt after season 2’s massive earthquake in San Francisco. Mei-Li enlists the help of a corporate partner, Supernatural’s Kim Rhodes as Carrie.

Who’s returning?

Nicky’s shifu Pei-Ling Kang (Vanessa Kai) suddenly appeared in the woods outside the city at the end of season 2.

And while Yvonne Chapman’s Zhilan Zhang sacrificed herself at the end of season 2, it looks like she’s be back in some form in season 3. Zhilan and Nicky will cross paths in episode 2 but we don’t know where or how. She’s “surviving in a very desolate environment”, showrunner Robert Berens told TVLine.

Kung Fu season 3 will air Wednesdays at 9 on The CW this Fall, premiering October 5th.
