THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES Wins REEL THANKS CHALLENGE Which Raises $300K for Vancouver Food Bank
The 10th Annual REEL Thanksgiving Challenge met and exceeded its goal of raising $300,000 from the BC Film industry for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank this Thanksgiving. with the amazing Spiderwick Chronicles team raising more than a third of the total.

That’s a big jump from last year’s goal of $200,00 (which was met).
16 teams: A Million Little Things, Alaska Daily, Career Opportunities in Murder & Mayhem, Fire Country, Kung Fu, Nancy Drew, So Help Me Todd, Straight Man, Superman & Lois, The Flash, The Good Doctor, The Never Game pilot, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Upload, Virgin River, When Calls the Heart.
Over 10 years, the REEL Thanksgiving Challenge has raised almost $2 million for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
Team Hearties from Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart won the Reel Thanksgiving Challenge in 2021, raising over $42,000 in two weeks.
Team Mysterious Benedict Society won the Challenge in 2020, raising over $65,000.
Team Supernatural won the Challenge in 2019, raising $47,450. It also won the social media challenge thanks to some viral videos from its stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki & Misha Collins and crew.
Team Supernatural won the Challenge in 2018 too, raising $40,592.
