Hulu’s Adaption of UNDER THE BRIDGE About the 1997 Murder of Reena Virk Starts Filming in B.C.
Hulu’s adaption of Rebecca Godfrey’s true crime bestseller Under the Bridge –about the brutal 1997 murder of Victoria teen Reena Virk — starts filming this week.
The Victoria, B.C. author Rebecca Godfrey, who died of lung cancer last month, was young enough at the time to immerse herself in the hidden world of six teen girls and a boy accused of swarming, beating and drowning the Indo-Canadian Virk under a waterway bridge.
Daisy Jones and the Six’s Riley Keough is playing the author and executive producing the series.
Filming dates: December 05 2022 – April 17 2023.
