ABC Spinoff THE GOOD LAWYER With Kennedy McMann & Bethlehem Million Filming in Vancouver
Nancy Drew’s Kennedy McMann has a new role as lawyer Joni deGroot in potential The Good Doctor spinoff The Good Lawyer, co-starring Bethlehem Million as her sister Abbie deGroot.
Dr. Shaun Murphy ( Freddie Highmore) seeks legal representation to help him win a case and puts his faith in promising, young lawyer Joni deGroot (Kennedy McMann) who has obsessive compulsive disorder.
The Good Lawyer is what’s called a backdoor pilot — it will air on March 13th (Updated) as an episode of The Good Doctor. That explains the Groot doll prank on Freddie Highmore’s The Good Doctor set chair.

Last December, a tearful Kennedy McMann announced on Instagram that Nancy Drew had wrapped filming its series, after 4 seasons in Vancouver.
