Vancouver-Filmed DRAGGED ACROSS CONCRETE is Surprise Hit on Netflix
Crime thriller Dragged Across Concrete, starring Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn and filmed in Vancouver back in 2017, is a surprise hit on Netflix.
A veteran policemen Ridgeman (Mel Gibson) and his younger hothead partner Anthony (Vince Vaughn) find themselves suspended when a video of them man-handling a suspect goes viral. Low on cash the two renegades turn to crime, but find more than they wanted.
Dragged Across Concrete popped up at #5 on Netflix’s Top 10 Films (English) worldwide last week, with 9.59 million hours watched.
Update: Dragged Across Concrete rose to #4 in its second week, with 9.31 million hours watched.

Vince Vaughn filmed a sequence in the 400 block West Hastings Street in August 2017. And then in a former bank now the Permanent Event venue at 333 West Pender Street.
Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn teamed up before on Hackshaw Ridge directed by Gibson.
