BC-Filmed THE NIGHT AGENT Now Ranks #6 on Netflix’s Most Popular TV List

The Night Agent now ranks #9 on Netflix’s Most Popular TV (English) list, topped by Stranger Things season 4.

Released on March 23rd, the filmed-in-Vancouver White House thriller stars Gabriel Basso as the Night Agent Peter Sutherland and Luciane Buchanann as Rose Larkin.

Netflix quickly renewed The Night Agent, but season 2 of the series will be a new story, set in a different part of the world than Washington, D.C. and exploring different characters except for the Night Agent himself. Will Rose come back in season 2? That’s not determined yet.

Inspired by Matthew Quirk’s novel, The Night Agent follows low-level FBI agent, Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings — until the night that it does, pulling him into a conspiracy that ultimately leads to the Oval Office.

Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) is a young tech CEO who’s fallen on hard times and retreats to her aunt and uncle’s house to take stock of her life. When assassins come for her aunt and uncle, she quickly learns they weren’t who they seemed to be and finds herself with Peter, both of them running for their lives.
