Michelle Yeoh to Star in STAR TREK: SECTION 31 Movie Filming in Toronto
Recent Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh will star in the Star Trek: Section 31 movie filming in Toronto.
Originally intended to be a Paramount+ series, the “special original movie event” follows Yeoh as ruthless mirror-verse Emperor Philippa Georgiou, who wound up involved in Starfleet’s covert Section 31 in season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery. Although she travelled with the Discovery crew to the 32nd century in season 3 , she had to return to the past because she couldn’t maintain cohesion so far from both the mirror-verse and her own time.
