YELLOWJACKETS 2×04: Where is Lottie’s 1990s Mall in Vancouver?
Teen Natalie and Lottie have a hunting competition in episode 4 of Yellowjackets season 2. Neither succeeds. Lottie makes a blood sacrifice, passes out in the cold and hallucinates being in a mall with her teammates, filmed at the Brentwood Mall in Burnaby.
Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.

Natalie does a bit better than Lotiie in the hunting competition, finding the white moose from the previous episode frozen in the lake by its antlers. The team try to pull it out but the moose sinks once freed from the ice.
How did Yellowjackets film the scene in studio?
It was in this very deep tank, and I was attached with a rope so there was no way I could fall in. But trying to open my eyes and looking at what seemed like a never-ending tank — there’s something really daunting about that. It was warm water, so that was fine, but the look in my eyes was from the claustrophobia and looking into the tank, because I was freaking out. Also, they built such a beautiful moose, and that was daunting because it was so huge and took up so much of the tank. — Sophie Thatcher to Vulture.
But once Javi (Luciano Leroux) is found in the woods, the balance of power shifts back to Lottie, who kept telling Travis his younger brother was alive.
