YELLOWJACKETS 2×02’s Cannibalistic Feast: Where Did it Film in Vancouver?
In the second episode of Yellowjackets season 2, the starving teen survivors eat their dead captain Jackie in a cannibalistic feast.
The scene alternates between the cold reality of them chowing down on their friend at her funeral pyre filmed at Bridge Studios and the illusion of a Greco-Roman bacchanal filmed at Camp Howdy in Belcarra.
Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.
25 years ago in the wilderness:
Jackie is cooked when snow falls on her funeral pyre and the starving teens can’t help themselves.
The Greco-Roman bacchanal filmed at Camp Howdy represents the teens disassociating from the reality that they’re eating their friend — a protective mechanism.

Some of the adult survivors story in episode two was filmed at Camp Howdy in Belcarra, too.

Taissa’s car crash:
The aftermath of Taissa’s car crash that puts her estranged wife Simone in a coma was filmed without the actors at 4th & Ontario in Vancouver on September 19th 2022.
Rukiya Bernard and Tawny Cypress shot the driving sequence on a green screen stage at Bridge Studios. On the count of 10, the car spun around, the smoke went off and fake glass came pouring in, Tawny Cypress told The Hollywood Reporter.
Evil Taissa crashes the car on purpose.
