BC-Filmed Season 2 of Breakout CRUEL SUMMER Premieres Tonight
Season 2 of Freeform’s breakout hit Cruel Summer follows two new teen girls in the Pacific Northwest town of Chatham, played by various locations in and around Vancouver.

Set in an idyllic waterfront town in the Pacific Northwest, the second chapter of Cruel Summer follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship.
Approaching the story from three different timelines surrounding Y2K, the season twists and turns as it tracks the early friendship between Megan (Sadie Stanley), Isabella LaRue (Lexi Underwood) and Megan’s best friend Luke (Griffin Gluck), the love triangle that blossomed, and the mystery that would impact all of their lives going forward..
Cruel Summer’s season 2 trailer had 24 million views across social media in its first 10 days, putting it on track to become Freeform’s most-watched trailer ever.
The special two-episode premiere airs tonight on Freeform at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
