BC-Filmed VC ANDREWS’ DAWN Part 4: MIDNIGHT WHISPERS Premieres
Does anyone in V.C. Andrews’ world know who their actual mother and father are? Lifetime’s BC-filmed Dawn series concludes tonight with Part 4: Midnight Whispers, starring Megan Best as Dawn’s daughter Christie.
After finding her real father (Joey McIntyre) in New York City, Dawn’s daughter Christie Longchamp (Megan Best) and her stepbrother Gavin (Emrik Lopez) flee to the plantation where she was born, only to find it has plenty of dark secrets of its own.
Though Dawn (Brec Bassinger)’s daughter Christie Longchamp (Megan Best) has grown up in a loving home, Christie can feel the dark presence over her and soon is engulfed by a tragic family death. As she looks for solace, she is further shocked to discover her Uncle Philip (Dane Schioler)’s secrets.
Fleeing to New York City, she finds her real father (Joey McIntyre) and turns to Jimmy’s stepbrother Gavin (Emrik Lopez), who flees with her to The Meadows, the plantation where Christie was born… .but The Meadows is blighted by its own dark secrets. Will Christie finally unlock her families’ troubled past and escape the curse that has haunted them for decades?
Production on the four-part movie series started late last summer in Vancouver, with the block shooting of the first two movies — Dawn and Secrets of the Morning — followed by Twilight’s Child and Midnight Whispers in the Fall.
