SUPERMAN: LEGACY Casts Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, a Green Lantern

Your friend’s a moron, I’ve got one of those too. I get it. -Marvel’s Master Karja

I always was the best. — DC’s Guy Gardner .

These sound like Nathan Fillion characters.

SUPERMAN: LEGACY Casts Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, a Green Lantern

James Gunn cast Nathan Fillion as the egotistical but lowly Orgocorp employee Master Karja in his blockbuster Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy 3, released earlier this year.

Now Gunn is calling on Fillion to play Guy Gardner, one of the top members of the Green Lantern Corps, in Superman: Legacy, the first movie in Gunn and Peter Safran’s reboot of the DC Universe,

Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl and, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific are two other additions to the Superman: Legacy cast,, according to Vanity Fair.

Last month, Superman: Legacy announced its leads: David Corenswet will play Clark Kent / Superman and Rachel Brosnahan will play Lois Lane.

Superman Legacy tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.

I’m honored to be a part of the legacy. And what better day than [Superman Anniversary Day] to dive fully into early pre-production on [Superman: Legacy]? Costumes, production design, and more now up and running, — James Gunn on Twitter & Instagram.

David Corenswet was in Vancouver last January/February shooting the FX pilot The Answers about a rich actor seeking a team of girlfriends to satisfy his needs.
