We meet the late great Lance Reddick as Zeus and other Olympians in the latest teaser for the BC-filmed Percy Jackson and the Olympians series — premiering December 20th on Disney+.
Based on Rick Riordan’s best-selling book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus (Lance Reddick) accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt.
With help from his friends Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries), Percy must embark on an adventure of a lifetime to find it and restore order to Olympus.

Filming in B.C.:
Percy Jackson and the Olympians filmed much of season one on Vancouver’s new Volume stage at Mammoth Studios in Burnaby.
Camp Half-Blood, the summer camp where young demigods train to combat monsters. had a few locations.
Production built a Camp Half-Blood set last year in Langley, east of Vancouver, on about 20 acres of private land with forest at the corner of 256th Street and 24th Avenue., according to neighbour Shelly W./@kidswap
