Season 7 of The Good Doctor starring Freddie Highmore premieres February 20th on ABC. The long-running medical drama shifts from its regular Mondays at 10 p.m. time slot to Tuesdays at 10 p.m., for an all-drama lineup with Will Trent and The Rookie.
Update: Production in Vancouver starts this December, delayed by six months of Hollywood work stoppages.

Where did we leave The Good Doctor in season 6?
Shaun became a Dad in the season 6 finale: Lea (Paige Spara) and Shaun (Freddie Highmore) welcome their son Steven Aaron Murphy.
The baby boy is named after Shaun’s late brother Steve and Shaun’s father figure Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff).
Unfortunately, Dr, Glassman wasn’t present at the birth, still angry at how Shaun forced the older neurosurgeon to stand down from an operation after learning his mentor had suffered a stroke.
But “Glassy” did s send a gift — a blue baby blanket monogrammed Steve.
Dr. Glassman will be back for season 7, co-showrunner Liz Friedman confirmed to TVLine.
Others are leaving the hospital: Dr. Danny Perez (Brandon Larracuente)
And maybe Dr. Marcus Andrews, since Hill Harper wants to run for a US Senate seat.
