Mr. Monk’s Last Case, a filmed-in-Toronto reunion movie starring Tony Shalhoub, premieres December 8th on Peacock.

Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) a brilliant San Francisco-based detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder, returns to solve one last, very personal case involving his beloved step-daughter Molly (Caitlin McGee),, a journalist preparing for her wedding.

The OG Monk series introduced us to brilliant San Francisco Police Department detective Adrian Monk, who suffers a breakdown after a car bomb kills his wife Trudy. Monk loses his job and refuses to leave his house for a few years after developing obsessive-compulsive disorder. Evenutally Monk begins work as a private detective and police consultant with the help of his nurse/assistant. Eight seasons later, Monk solves his biggest case in the series finale: finding out who killed Trudy..
