HBO’s smash hit The Last of Us casts Isabela Merced as Dina, joining Pedro Pascal’s Joel, Bella Ramsey’s Ellie, Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby and Young Mazino’s Jesse in season 2 of the video game adaption.
Dina is Ellie’s new partner and Jesse’s ex.
The Last of Us takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed by a fungal pandemic. Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle teen Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
Season one left us with Joel and Ellie heading back to Jackson, Wyoming, a thriving community of survivors from the fungal pandemic.
