I watched the first episode last night. It will make you cry. — The CW ‘s Brad Schwartz to TCA.
Superman & Lois’s fourth and final season will get a proper sendoff at The CW, meaning it will be showcased to advertisers at the May Upfronts and premiere in the Fall.
The CW decided to hold the acclaimed series until the Fall because the show would be “wasted in the summer” and the premiere is “going to blow your minds”, The CW President of Entertainment Brad Schwartz said during today’s Television Critics Association panel.
That’s a big accomplishment, considering the budget cuts that came with the season 4 renewal last May. So far we have seen the demolition of the Kent house set in Ladner, a reduction in episodes from 13 to 10, a cut in series regulars cast from 12 to 5 and a reduction in writers from 8 to 5.
But everyone’s happy to be back and the main cast has been sharing set photos.
Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Bitsie Tulloch as Lois Lane on set for season 4.
The Kent Boys:
Michael Bishop as Jonathon Kent and Alex Garfin as Jordan Kent on set for season 4.
