After a long delay, season 3 of Yellowjackets is expected to film in Vancouver this summer, with production starting mid-May and wrapping late October.
Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.
Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated cult hit ended with the teen survivors in 1996 without shelter in the winter wilderness and the adult survivors in 2021 mourning the death of one of their own in a ritualistic hunt gone wrong.

The Yellowjackets will be looking for another shelter in season 3, after the cabin (a soundstage set in Vancouver) burned to the ground.

At least the Wilderness has chosen a new Antler Queen to lead them: teen Natalie (Sophie Thatcher) who survived the group’s first ritualistic hunt by letting someone else die in her place.
