It’s a Peacemaker pre-shoot. Production moved from Vancouver to Atlanta for season 2, withJohn Cena returning as the surprisingly lovable anti-hero.
You may have seen almost all of Cena at this year’s Oscars.
Creator James Gunn shared an image of himself reflected in the Peacemaker helmut to mark the start of production in Atlanta, where the co-head of DC Studios is directing his Superman movie, as well.
Peacemaker was sensation right from the start in early 2022 with fans copying the opening credits dance on TikTok and other social media platforms. Alan Tudyk’s wife Charissa Barton did the choreography.

Season One filmed in greater Vancouver from mid-January to mid-July in 2021, where Peacemaker spent more than $1.2 million on local businesses in Surrey including set construction, logistics and feeding the crew.
