Jared Padalecki says “Yes” to a role on The Boys fifth and final season.
The Boys and Supernatural creator Eric Kripke joked to Variety last month that he needs to complete his “game of Supernatural Pokémon and I have my one big one — very big one — left to catch”.
The 6′ 4″ (1.93 m) Jared Padalecki, who co-starred with Jensen Ackles as brothers Sam and Dean Winchester for 15 seasons of Supernatural, has time now that The CW officially cancelled his Walker series after four seasons.

As a matter of fact, we talked today.I think at this point in my acting life, I only want to work on projects that I really care about or with people that I really care about, and obviously Eric [Kripke] and I are indelibly connected forever. — Padalecki to Deadline Hollywood.
I mean, he created Supernatural. He created Sam Winchester. He created Ruby [Genevieve Padalecki], who I ended up marrying and starting a family with. I adore him. I adore his humor. I adore him as a person, his storytelling. So I can’t wait. I don’t think [Season 5] films until next year, but I will be ready when he makes the phone call. Will this mean a reunion with his Supernatural brother Jensen Ackles, who had his own turn as Soldier Boy in season three of The Boys?
