The shooting of Neill Druckmann’s episode coincided with the return of Pedro Pascal to set after months away on other projects.

This week The Last of Us returned to filming the Seattle chapters of season 2 with a big shoot in Vancouver’s Chinatown on Monday:
Bella Ramsey’s Ellie and Isabela Merced’s Dina walked down a street dressed as post-apocalyptic Seattle’s Chinatown with their guns drawn.

There is another big shoot planned overnight this Friday in the Downtown Eastside on the 300 to 700 blocks of Raymur Avenue.
What is The Last of Us?
Season One of The Last of Us took place 20 years after modern civilization had been destroyed by a fungal pandemic. Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, was hired to smuggle teen Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What started as a small job soon became a brutal, heartbreaking journey as they both traversed across the U.S. and depended on each other for survival.
At the end of season one, Joel and Ellie headed back to Jackson, Wyoming, a walled community of survivors from the fungal pandemic led by Joel’s brother Tommy Miller (Gabriel Luna) and sister-in-law Maria (Rutina Wesley).
In season 2, we meet some new characters In Jackson like Ellie’s new friend Dina (Isabela Merced) and scout Jesse (Young Mazino).
We also meet a group of former Fireflies who join Isaac (Jeffrey Wright)’s Washington Liberation Front (WLF) in Seattle: soldier Abby Anderson (Kaitlyn Dever), who’s seeking vengeance for someone she loved; soldier Manny (Danny Ramirez), doctor Mel (Ariela Barer), military medic Nora (Tati Gabrielle) and Owen (Spencer Lord)
