Twisted Metal moved production from New Orleans to Toronto and began filming season 2 in mid-July.

What’s Twisted Metal about?

Twisted Metal follows a motor-mouthed outsider (Anthony Mackie) offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief (Stephanie Beatriz), he faced savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown (Joe Senoa/Will Arnett) who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.

Joe Seanoa as as Sweet Tooth (voiced by Will Arnett).

Sweet Tooth appears in a scene from Twisted Metal.

What’s coming in season 2?

John Doe’s invited to Calypso (Anthony Kerrigan)’s vehicular tournament which promises the one contestant who makes it out alive their wildest dreams.

The tournament is a good way to introduce us to John Doe’s sister Dollface, to Mr. Grimm and hopefully to Axel (a man hooked up to giant tires).

Twisted Metal season 2:
