BRILLIANT MINDS With Zachary Quinto Premieres: Filmed in Toronto

NBC’s new medical show Brilliant Minds, starring Zachary Quinto as an Oliver Sacks-style neurologist, premieres tonight.

Brilliant Minds follows a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist, Dr. Oliver Wolf (Zachary Quinto), and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health.

Dr. Wolf suffers from his own neurological condition: face blindness.

Official trailer:

The series filmed its pilot in 2023 and its series in 2024 under the working title Dr. Wolf in Toronto,, where Quinto made the local news after the Mediterranean-style Manita restaurant banned him for being “a terrible customer”. Manita claimed on their Instagram that Quinto “yelled at our staff like an entitled child after he didn’t reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready.”
