PERCY JACKSON Season 2: Tamara Smart Cast as Thalia Grace

Season 2 of BC-filmed Percy Jackson and the Olympians has cast Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace.

Thalia Grace is the demigod daughter of Zeus (the late Lance Reddick) who made her last stand to protect her friends at the edge of Camp Half-Blood. Rather than let her die, Zeus transformed her into a tree that anchors the force field that protects camp. Tough and prickly, with a rebel/punk sensibility, Thalia is fiercely loyal to her friends and distrustful of her father’s world.

In season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Percy (Walker Scobell) returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) is changing, he learns he has a cyclops half-brother named Tyson (Daniel Diemer), Grover (Aryan Simhadri) has gone missing, and the camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him into the deadly Sea of Monsters to retrieve the Golden Fleece that will save Thalia’s tree, which protects the borders of the camp.

Camp Half-Blood Sets:

Camp Half-Blood, the summer camp where young demigods train to combat monsters, is no longer safe in season 2.

Thalia’s tree, which protected the camp, has been poisoned, allowing monsters to cross the border.
