Syfy’s mystery horror series adaption Revival, starring Wynonna Earp’s Melanie Scrofano, is in production in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Revival, is set on one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin when the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the “revived” appear and act just like they once were.
When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress (Melanie Scrofano) is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.

Melanie Scrofano’s Dana Cypress is a single mother and cop, who’s constantly having to prove herself to her father, the local Sheriff..
Romy Weltman’s Martha ‘Em’ Cypress is Dana’s younger sister, who’s led a sheltered life due to a recurring illness.
David James Elliott’s Wayne Cypress is Dana and Martha’s father and the longtime Wausau Sheriff, who’s determined to keep his town and family as normal and safe as possible.
Andy McQueen’s Abrahim Ramin, is a CDC scientist who’s in Wausau to study the bizarre phenomenon that brought people back to life.
