Disney+’s popular teen horror anthology Goosebumps moved production for season 2 from Vancouver to New York City, with a new story, setting and cast.

Goosebumps: The Vanishing begins when twins (Sam McCarthy) and Cece (Jayden Bartels) are sent to spend a summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their divorced dad (David Schwimmer). A threat is stirring, and they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends — Alex, CJ and Frankie — find themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.

Goosebumps: The Vanishing premieres January 10th on Disney+ and Hulu.

Season one took place in the fictional Pacific Northwest town of Port Lawrence played mainly by Deep Cove, B.C. and starred Justin Long as a possessed teacher.
