Hallmark’s long-running period series about school teacher Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and the town of Hope Vally enters the 1920s in season 12, which just wrapped filming in Langley, BC and premieres January 5th on the channel.
The new season brings a special guest star: Melissa Gilbert, who broke out as a child actor on Little House on the Prairie fifty years ago, plays Georgie McGill — someone who ““shares a surprising past with one special Hope Valley resident.”

Well, we spend a lot more time together this season, and I think you get to see some real romantic moments between us, as well as some really heartfelt co-parenting in this blended family. Those scenes are some of my favorites. — Erin Krakow.
